Orations

The orations of the College of Community Physicians of Sri Lanka are an annual event organized by the college to provide a platform for distinguished speakers to deliver presentations on important topics related to community medicine and public health in Sri Lanka. The orations are usually delivered by prominent professionals and experts in the field of community medicine, epidemiology, and related fields. The event is attended by a wide range of stakeholders, including representatives from the government, academia, public health organizations, and communities. The orations aim to raise awareness about important public health issues, stimulate discussions, and promote research and innovation in the field of community medicine in Sri Lanka. The College conducts three orations annually namely Dr F.A Wickramasinghe Oration, Dr A.V.K.V De Silva Oration and the College Oration.
